Geometry Dash Necropolis is an Insane Demon level in the popular mobile game, created, hack-verified, and published by Neptune. It is rated 10 stars and designed to be a solo level. Previously, it was considered one of the hardest levels in the series but has since fallen to an upper-tier Insane Demon. Necropolis was once considered one of the hardest demons due to its use of traps, fakes, and ship sequences with narrow spaces and tight ball spaces. It features a large number of precise timings and several notoriously annoying ball segments that have caused some players to fail at the end of the level.

The word "Necropolis" means "city of the dead" (in the Roman Empire, Necropolis were subterranean cemeteries) and explains the presence of crosses in the background. This cross-trend would later become popular in other Hard Demons.

There are two remakes of Necropolis:

  • The first is called NecropoliX and was created by Riot and Namtar and verified by Trusta in August 2017. It mainly focuses on memory and cool effects and is similar to its predecessor.
  • The second remake is called Necromancer, created by Riot, Stormfly, and many others, and verified by TGI on February 20, 2019, one year and two days after knobbelboy verified Bloodlust. Unlike its two predecessors, Necromancer is significantly more difficult than Necropolis and NecropoliX, originally placing in the Top 25 of the Demonlist, although it could have easily taken a Top 5-10 spot or maybe a Top 3 at the time of its release since this level was not rated for five months.
