Shuriken level by Ferdefunky stands out for its challenging timing-based gameplay and its creative blend of basic and neon styles. While it may not pose a challenge for seasoned players, the level's timing elements can be considered difficult. However, with practice, it becomes easier to pass.

Shuriken was submitted to Viprin's "Gauntlet Contest 4" and, impressively, the level was so well received that it received a sixth place finish. Despite being designed for the Monster Gauntlet, it was eventually placed in the more challenging Death Gauntlet. The same thing happened with another two levels, Predator and Ghoul.
