Geometry Dash Silhouette is a Hard Demon level rated 10 stars created by Havok and verified by Smokes. Similar to Fairydust or Classic in difficulty, the Nine Circles remake is challenging. This is often regarded as a Hard Demon by players. Like other Nine Circles levels, it contains a green backdrop and an extremely challenging wave segment with a mini-wave part at the start that is comparable to Fairydust and a second twin wave segment that is much easier but still grating. Smokes checked the level since Havok claimed to be pressed for time and to have poor wave abilities.

How to play

This level's commencement is essentially similar to that of Nine Circles and Fairydust. The first portion of the level is a very easy yet challenging cube component. The player must leap once after the first gravity portal in order to avoid tripping over the edge of the block below. Following a straightforward labyrinth section, the level transitions to a similarly straightforward but challenging ball with a bug at around 15%. The next cube only has three hops and is virtually entirely automatic. The Nine Circles wave starts when the rhythm slows down.

A rookie player may find the initial portion of the wave to be highly perplexing because to the many speed, gravity, and size adjustments. At around 30%, the wave gets small, and it has a style that is quite similar to Fairydust's last mini wave section. Around 45% of the way through the level, this finishes, and is replaced with an extremely challenging wave with odd timing that is not typical of Nine Circles levels. The dual wave is introduced in such a manner that the player may simply crash without settling into a particular pattern.

The twin wave is similar to those seen in the majority of Nine Circles levels, although it does have some blue pads that the player has to be aware of. A glitch also exists in the last phase of the wave. Although it is uncommon, it is possible for the player to miss the transition to triple speed and continue the level at double speed. The last section employs timing errors, mashing, and a few gravity portals to cause the player the most confusion imaginable. As the top path has an unseen sawblade that may otherwise cause the player to crash, Havok's name is in this part, and the player must go below it. The final section with confused timings and a half-speed shift with bogus lines marks the level's conclusion. It lacks the "GG" that serves as a hallmark in certain challenging Nine Circles levels and is highly reminiscent to Jawbreaker's.

Trivia

  • There are 11,303 items in the level.
  • Smokes had to confirm Silhouette for Havok since it was too hard for him to do so. Smokes nonetheless completed the level twice—once for verification and once to publish it to his YouTube channel.
  • Figures was the intended name for this level, but when Glittershroom's level received the same name, Havok chose Silhouette as a substitute.
  • Unlike other Nine Circles levels, this one makes use of the standard ground and backdrop.
